In school, my least favorite subject is science because I have to work the hardest to succeed in that class. I don't mind science, but if I had to pick a least favorite subject, it would have to be science. I cope with the work by reminding myself that it will be easier to do the work now, rather than have to redo the class later. Thankfully, science classes are only two trimesters, so I get a break from Biology right now.
Softball season is here! I have been waiting for months and now the weather is standing in my way. Again. I'm not very happy because our game for today was cancelled, but it's okay because we have a game on Wednesday at Marysvile, so I'm excited. We might even have a game on Tuesday at Cousino if their fields are ready. I love my team and can't wait for our first game of the season. Go Lake Shore!
One of my biggest goals in life is to have a successful career that I can be proud of. I want to set myself up for success, not failure. Another major goal in my life is to play softball in college for a good university and earn a master's degree while playing.
My family is very important to me. I live with for my mom, Deanna; my dad, Jeff; my 12 year old sister, Sophie; and my 9 year old sister, Rachel. We are all very close. Two of my uncles and their families live near us and are very close to us too. My grandma is also very close to us, both geographically and emotionally. My home is very family-oriented. We also have two cats: Lulu and Bella. We are a very loving family!
My favorite quote in all of life is "You have to succeed as much as you want to breathe (Anonymous)" because it can be applied in all situations. Success is such a versatile word. Success can mean that you cooked a nice meal for your family, got that job that you've been hoping for, or finally achieved your lifelong goal. Success is something that you can always strive for, no matter what your goal is.
I am a peaceful phlegmatic. I somewhat agree with this description because the friend category is spot-on, but the rest of my qualities are more compatible with the perfect melancholy description. My parents, friends, and other teachers would probably describe me as a perfect melancholy because I am quiet and keep to myself, but am also a perfectionist and a thinker. One of my strengths is competitive. I think that this best describes me because I want what I am doing in life has a purpose and makes a difference. Everything I do, I give 110% because anything you do is worth doing well. One weakness that describes me is withdrawn. Even though I am involved in many things, I know that there is always room for improvement. Becoming more involved is a goal of mine. I will try to improve this quality by diversifying my extracurricular activities and expanding to volunteer work as well as sports.
