One thing that I consider awesome in life is when strangers are actually nice people and can make others laugh. I think it is the coolest thing when someone you've never met can make your day better. When someone in the car next to me smiles at me while sitting at the stoplight, it makes me feel really good.
The most recent time that I did a good deed in life was when I helped my friend out at softball tryouts. She really wanted to make the team and asked me to help her out with some things. I was more than happy when I found out that she made the team. It meant a lot to me that I helped make a difference for her.
My favorite part of this quote is when Swindoll says "...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it". I completely agree with this. Positive attitude is one of the most important things to have in life. You can't change what happens to you, but you can choose how to react to it.
My sister, Sophie, is my best friend. She is the funniest and most creative person I know. Almost every day when I get home, she is doing something so silly and fun that I have no choice but to be in a good mood and smile. Sometimes I take it for granted that she will always be there for me, no matter what, but I know that nothing is guaranteed in life, so I cherish every moment that I have with her.
In school, my least favorite subject is science because I have to work the hardest to succeed in that class. I don't mind science, but if I had to pick a least favorite subject, it would have to be science. I cope with the work by reminding myself that it will be easier to do the work now, rather than have to redo the class later. Thankfully, science classes are only two trimesters, so I get a break from Biology right now.
